Sintered metal mesh filter cartridge is the cylindrical filter element made of sintered wire mesh. These filter cartridges mostly use standard 5 layer sintered wire mesh as the filter media. All square weave sintered wire mesh is also used in cartridges which need high permeability and flow rating.

· suitable for temperature applications higher than 300 degree Celsius
· washable and reusable
· all welded structure, no risk of failure of spot welding or adhesive
· self-support, easy to form cartridge
As the mechanism of the sintered wire mesh is stop and restrain the impurities in the working fluid, there are chances that the impurities accumulated and form the filter cake. The filter cake can increase the filtering accuracy at certain degree before the cake is cleaned or removed by backwashing or offline cleaning.
End fitting of cartridges: DOE, 226 double o-ring, 222 double o-ring, NPT BSPT thread, other standard thread, flange, tri-clamp quick mount flange / sanitary ferrule adapter, other customized solutions.
Sealing material for cartridges: Buna-N (NBR), EPDM, Silicone, PTFE, Viton (FKM), other fluoride sealing material.
Maximum working temperature recommendation:
· Thread connection – same as the metal material, up to 800 degree Celcius.
· PTFE – 260 degree Celsius
· Silicone – 230 degree Celsius
· Viton (FKM) – 200 degree Celsius
· EPDM – 150 degree Celsius
· NBR (Buna-N) – 120 degree Celsius
Advantage of sintered mesh filter cartridges comparing to wire mesh filter
Comparing to non-metallic and ordinary wire mesh filter cartridges, sintered metal mesh filter cartridge is superior in:· fixed and stable pore size under high temperature and pressure
